About the Role

West Cirque Construction, a prominent General Contractor specializing in residential and commercial projects, is looking for a Skilled Labourer to join the team for a multifamily construction project in Regina, Saskatchewan. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain strict compliance with local building codes and safety standards on site
• Undertake carpentry tasks not covered by subcontractors
• Supervise work performed by subcontracted trades
• Complete repairs and touch-ups on subcontractors' work deficiencies
• Conduct frame and mechanical inspections
• Perform finish carpentry duties
• Carry out quality inspections and prepare reports
• Promptly communicate issues to the site superintendent
• Effectively use power tools such as air nailers, skill saws, and screw guns
• Mentor less experienced workers
• Support additional site tasks as assigned by the site foreman or superintendent

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in finish carpentry is advantageous
• Familiarity with operation of equipment such as zoom booms or skid steers is beneficial
• Strong knowledge of building and safety codes
• Ability to organize tasks and communicate effectively, fostering strong relationships with subcontractors and site personnel
• Excellent time management skills with an ability to prioritize and deliver results
• Keen attention to detail with a firm grasp on quality standards
• Highly organized, goal-oriented, and able to work collaboratively within diverse teams
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
