Role overview

SOCOTEC is hiring a Site Support Operative for its Infrastructure Division in Coventry. This opportunity is suited to someone interested in geotechnical ground investigation within the construction sector and who wants to contribute to the success of the wider business.

The company is expanding its teams and is looking for a dependable, adaptable, and committed individual who can work well both independently and as part of a team. The work is varied, with changing sites and projects, so no two days are expected to be the same.

Key duties

  • Carry out mobilisation and demobilisation activities on site.
  • Support enabling and reinstatement work.
  • Assist with gas and groundwater monitoring tasks.
  • Provide help with drilling activities when required.
