Site Supervisor with Experience in Viaduct and Bridge Construction

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor specializing in viaduct and bridge projects to ensure all construction activities comply with regulatory and safety standards. The role entails overseeing civil, architectural, and infrastructural works at the site while coordinating closely with contractors and authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and inspect contractors' work to guarantee adherence to authority and agency standards.
• Manage all aspects of construction including permanent and temporary civil and architectural works such as sewerage, drainage, irrigation, commuter facilities, roadworks, trial trenches, and utility diversions.
• Liaise with contractors and relevant site partners or agencies to ensure smooth project execution.
• Supervise onsite and offsite fabrication of precast concrete and steel structural components.
• Oversee lifting operations required for erecting precast concrete elements safely.
• Inspect sites and assist in issuing E-Tokens for soil disposal compliance.
• Review and monitor safety, environmental, and health protocols on site.
• Manage installation and ongoing monitoring of instrumentation used in the project.
• Verify and validate work quantities completed for progress payments.
• Provide any additional required site supervisory services.
• Assist in the operation of the Project Monitoring Control Centre (PMCC).

Qualifications and Experience

• At minimum, a Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering or National Certificate in Construction Supervision (NCCS).
• Possession of site or work safety certifications is favorable.
• Experience working with contractors on site is considered an advantage.
• At least 3 years’ experience in roadworks, Land Transport Authority (LTA) projects, tunnels, viaducts, flyovers, or bridge construction.
