Site Supervisor – Retail Fit-outs, Fixtures & Interiors

Job Summary

The Site Supervisor role focuses on managing and supervising all aspects of the interior construction and fit-out process for retail stores. This involves overseeing the installation of fixtures, fittings, and interiors ensuring the finished store reflects brand aesthetics and customer experience quality while complying with project deadlines and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the setup of interior elements including fixtures, display units, lighting, flooring, and shelving.
• Ensure interior works strictly follow design plans, brand guidelines, and quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with contractors, suppliers, designers, and vendors to guarantee accurate and on-time installations.
• Conduct frequent site inspections to track progress, quality assurance, and adherence to safety regulations.
• Manage labor forces, equipment, and materials on site to boost efficiency and prevent delays.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics to secure timely material availability for the project.
• Address and resolve any site-related conflicts or issues promptly to maintain project schedules.
• Document work progress, site conditions, and any modifications to project scope diligently.
• Implement and maintain health and safety protocols throughout all stages of the fit-out and finishing works.
• Prepare comprehensive handover documentation and liaise with retail operations to ensure the store’s readiness for opening.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing retail store fit-outs or related interior construction projects.
• Sound knowledge of interior finishes, carpentry, electrical fittings, and retail display systems.
• Ability to read and interpret interior design drawings and technical details.
• Excellent organizational and communication capabilities.
• Competency in managing multiple contractors and maintaining quality standards.
• Awareness of safety requirements and compliance on construction sites.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude with a proactive mindset towards mitigating delays and challenges.
• Basic proficiency in computer applications for reporting and documentation purposes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Previous experience with retail or commercial interior fit-out projects.
• Understanding of retail merchandising needs and brand standard compliance.

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Location: Multiple retail sites, primarily Gurgaon
• Monthly Salary: ₹28,000 - ₹32,000 CTC
