Role Overview

This role involves collaborating closely with the Site Manager and project team to take charge of specific site areas, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality work delivery. It is a practical position ideal for those who thrive in hands-on environments, fostering strong relationships with subcontractors and keeping projects on track.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily site activities within assigned areas
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trades, and suppliers on-site
  • Drive progress to meet project schedules
  • Uphold safety, quality, and compliance standards
  • Monitor site progress and proactively address issues and risks
  • Ensure work aligns with drawings and specifications
  • Maintain accurate site documentation including daily reports and progress logs
  • Collaborate with the broader project team to achieve essential milestones

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated experience as a Site Supervisor on Tier 1 or Tier 2 construction projects
  • Background working on large-scale construction projects, preferably valued over $70 million
  • Experience in health sector projects is advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and delivery processes
  • Confidence in managing subcontractors and enhancing site productivity
  • Comprehensive understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
  • Excellent leadership and communication capabilities
  • Proactive, well-organized, and solution-oriented mindset
