Overview
Datoff Bros. Construction Ltd., a rapidly expanding General Contractor focusing on Commercial, Civil, and Industrial Construction, is looking to hire a Vertical Site Superintendent. This full-time role based in Prince George, British Columbia involves overseeing construction site activities to ensure projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement the construction schedule with careful review and action.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to suggest scheduling improvements, cost reductions, and identify potential construction challenges.
- Set up the job site office and oversee equipment requirements.
- Supervise, coordinate, and plan daily tasks for workers and tradespeople.
- Manage communication, scheduling, and coordination with subcontractors, trades, suppliers, and utilities.
- Procure necessary materials and supplies on time.
- Ensure all site deadlines are consistently met.
- Regularly monitor and update the construction progress weekly.
- Identify and address project challenges during weekly job site meetings.
- Communicate promptly with the Project Manager about any site concerns or modifications.
- Enforce strict adherence to WorkSafe guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Maintain high standards of construction quality control.
- Keep the site, including parking areas, common spaces, and site offices, clean, safe, and presentable at all times.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Site Superintendent with a background in commercial, civil, and industrial construction projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt proactively to changing conditions and devise effective strategies to overcome obstacles.
- Knowledge in Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology, and Construction Management disciplines.
- Familiarity with health and safety programs relevant to the construction industry.
- Solid grasp of current construction methods and comprehensive understanding of construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Capability to lead and promote safe work practices under pressure.
- Strong leadership qualities with a focus on promoting teamwork and clear communication.

- Annual salary ranging from $135,000 to $170,000.
