Role overview
The Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for keeping Plaud.ai’s AI products dependable and high-performing as they scale. The role also covers incident handling, systems automation, observability, and cross-functional reliability planning.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain the stability and performance of Plaud.ai’s AI products at scale.
- Take ownership of incident response and drive ongoing reliability improvements.
- Create automation that lowers manual effort and strengthens system resilience.
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to design for reliability.
- Enhance monitoring, visibility, and operational practices across systems.
Experience and qualifications
- At least 8 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering.
- Strong working knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Practical experience with Kubernetes and distributed systems.
- Background in on-call support and incident management.
- Ability to code in at least one language, such as Go, Python, or Java.
Preferred profile
- Experience supporting AI/ML or other data-heavy platforms.
- Understanding of SLO and SLA practices.
- Exposure to fast-scaling or globally distributed products.
- Experience with multi-region architectures.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
