Role Overview
The Site Operative plays a key role in maintaining site cleanliness and safety while assisting the broader site team with daily operational tasks to ensure smooth project progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of site welfare facilities.
- Properly store materials and supervise unloading of deliveries.
- Ensure safe access and exit routes to welfare areas are maintained.
- Maintain and improve pedestrian walkways and clear signage throughout the development.
- Ensure the site and sales areas are presented neatly and professionally.
- Keep individual plots clean and safe at all times, including preparation for NHBC inspections and protecting second fix items.
- Secure the site and plots by opening and locking up at the start and end of each day.
- Support general housekeeping tasks and assist the site team and specialist trades when needed.
- Maintain clear walkways and assist with traffic management to uphold health and safety standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Full clean driving license.
- Ability to work cooperatively alongside team members and various tradespeople.
- Capable of traveling to multiple sites within the region.
- Strong awareness of safety protocols and practices on site.
