Job description
Role Overview
This full-time on-site opportunity in Riyadh is for a Site Engineer specializing in civil or architectural work. The position is suited to a driven professional with 0 to 1 year of experience who can contribute to site execution, quality assurance, and coordination across multiple disciplines on active construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee everyday site operations so work follows approved drawings, technical specifications, and method statements.
- Check workmanship and quality, carry out inspections and ITPs, and manage NCRs and punch lists through to closure.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to clear technical issues and keep the schedule on track.
- Draft and submit RFIs, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements as required.
- Maintain progress tracking, prepare daily and weekly updates, and contribute to short-term look-ahead planning.
- Confirm site quantities, assist with BOQ take-offs, and support measurements for progress billing.
- Ensure activities comply with HSE requirements and permit-to-work procedures.
- Support site testing, readiness for commissioning, and preparation of as-built records.
- Follow up on procurement and material movement to help achieve programme milestones.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture is required.
- Applicants should have 0 to 1 year of site experience, preferably on building projects involving structural work and/or finishes.
- Saudi nationality is mandatory.
- Valid SCE membership/registration, or eligibility to obtain it, is required.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are expected.
- Familiarity with the Saudi Building Code, QA/QC processes, ITPs, and HSE practices is important.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities are necessary, along with the ability to perform under schedule pressure.

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is strictly on-site. It is open to candidates who can handle the demands of active construction environments and support delivery across civil and architectural workstreams.
