About the Role
We are seeking a Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor involved in a major infrastructure project based in Lusk, North Dublin. This role offers a fantastic chance for an experienced engineer to contribute to the completion of high-quality civil engineering operations within a dynamic and busy project environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and facilitate daily site operations pertaining to civil engineering works.
- Perform setting out tasks utilizing GPS and levelling tools.
- Confirm the accuracy of site measurements, lines, and levels.
- Conduct site surveys and develop as-built drawings using AutoCAD software.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders effectively.
- Track site progress and maintain precise diaries and relevant records.
- Carry out regular inspections onsite ensuring health and safety compliance.
- Assist in resolving technical and construction-related challenges on site.
- Guarantee that all work meets design specifications and quality benchmarks.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field (Level 8 or equivalent minimum).
- Minimum of five years' experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering or construction settings.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, site practices, and health and safety directives.
- Demonstrated ability to use GPS devices, levelling instruments, AutoCAD, and Procore platform.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
- Capable of working autonomously as well as integrally within a project team.
- Possession of a full, clean driving license with the willingness to travel between project locations.
Salary and Benefits
- Estimated annual salary range between €65,000 and €75,000, commensurate with experience.
