Signage & Wayfinding Graphic Designer

Role overview

The Design Company FZ LLC (TDC) is seeking a graphic designer with exposure to architectural, interior, product, or industrial design environments. This role is suited to someone who has worked on projects within the built environment and ideally also has experience in wayfinding and signage design.

You should be highly skilled in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, with additional illustration and 3D design capabilities considered an advantage. A careful approach, strong consistency, and a sharp eye for detail are essential for success in this position.

TDC is a Dubai-based consultancy focused on signage and wayfinding, environmental graphics, and identity design. The studio supports projects from masterplanning and concept development through tender documentation and installation supervision. It works alongside architects and interior design consultants as a specialist sub-consultant, contributing dedicated signage and wayfinding expertise.

The company has delivered work for hotels, residential developments, and commercial projects across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Jordan, and Qatar.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Design Manager across all phases of a project, from initial concept work through to detailed design reporting.
• Partner with technical design colleagues to develop coordinated project outputs.
• Produce reports, visual materials, and signage artwork.

Qualifications and experience

The role calls for a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a closely related discipline, along with 2 to 4 years of graphic design experience.

Applicants should be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and InDesign, and bring strong communication skills, conceptual thinking, typography ability, and overall design sensibility. A portfolio of previous work is required.
