About the role

Join the motorsport apparel design team and gain hands-on exposure to the full creative workflow, from early concept sketches through to finished product execution. This role is based in Herzogenaurach, Bavaria, Germany, and is designed for a design student who wants to build practical experience in a fast-moving sports brand environment.

The position is with a global sports company that develops footwear, apparel and accessories across a wide international footprint. The team values drive, energy, collaboration and individuality, and welcomes applications from all genders.

Key responsibilities

  • Build familiarity with the complete product design journey, starting with the first idea and ending with the final deliverable.
  • Own one independent project and help bring product design concepts to market in alignment with defined product direction.
  • Create and communicate compelling product narratives, visual concepts and mood boards.
  • Research the market under the guidance of the design team and share current, accurate insights on relevant trends and developments.
  • Support the creation and upkeep of creative directions, product designs, technical packs, presentation files, mini sheets and product specifications.
  • Contribute to routine team activities such as sketching/drawing, information handling and database maintenance.

What we are looking for

  • You should be enrolled in a design-related creative program, ideally in fashion design.
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is essential, especially Photoshop and Illustrator, along with MS Office.
  • Experience with 3D design tools is an advantage; examples include Browzwear/Vstitcher, Clo3D, Modo, Rhino and Keyshot.
  • You should be proactive, comfortable working on your own and able to take initiative with a practical, hands-on approach.
  • A solid sense of visual storytelling is important for this role.
  • Interest in market trends, particularly those connected to design and motorsport, will be valuable.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken, are required, as well as good project and time management skills.
  • Start date: 01.09.2026.
  • Duration: 6 months.
