Signage Fabrication & Installation Technician

Job Location and Type

This role is based in Doha, Qatar and requires on-site full-time commitment.

Experience and Language Requirements

Candidates should have between four to five years of relevant work background, preferably including experience within GCC countries. Proficiency in English for reading, writing, and basic communication is necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct, assemble, and install various types of signage for indoor and outdoor applications.
• Interpret and follow detailed technical drawings, production layouts, and plans to ensure precision in execution.
• Accurately measure, cut, and assemble signage components utilizing professional tools and industry-standard equipment.
• Prepare surfaces for vinyl application, ensuring precise alignment and high-quality results.
• Apply self-adhesive vinyl graphics to materials such as acrylic, glass, metal, composite panels, and vehicle surfaces.
• Trim, laminate, mount, and finish printed graphics according to production standards.
• Install illuminated signage including 3D channel letters, lightboxes, directional signs, and other commercial branding elements.
• Carry out ACP cladding installation tasks and related finish work as necessary.
• Ensure safety standards are upheld during on-site installations.
• Verify completed installations meet quality, accuracy, and project specifications.
• Collaborate with both production and installation teams to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain orderly workshop conditions and ensure tools and equipment are properly cared for.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• At least 4 to 5 years of experience specifically in signage fabrication and installation.
• Experience handling commercial, retail, or advertising signage projects.
• Proficiency applying vinyl, finishing graphic materials, and assembling signage components.
• Hands-on knowledge of installing illuminated signs, channel letters, lightboxes, and ACP cladding.
• Capability to read and understand technical and installation drawings.
• Skilled with fabrication tools, workshop equipment, and installation techniques.
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate independently and within a team framework.
• Basic competence in English communication.
• GCC work experience is an added advantage but not a requirement.
