Sign Production & Installation Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Sign Production & Installation Specialist located in Doha, Qatar, to lead the fabrication and setup of diverse indoor and outdoor signage. The ideal candidate will bring 4 to 10 years of experience, preferably within the GCC region, showcasing expertise in vinyl application, 3D lettering, cladding, and large-format graphic installations.

Key Duties

• Create, construct, and install various types of signage both inside and outside buildings.
• Prepare and treat substrates to ensure optimal adhesion for vinyl and graphic applications.
• Precisely apply vinyl graphics and laminate printed visuals while adhering to production standards.
• Install a wide array of signs, including aluminium composite panels (ACP), 3D channel letters, acrylic and metal lettering, large vinyl graphics, banners, post and panel signs, wayfinding indicators, concrete bases, and framework.
• Utilize power tools and installation equipment safely and effectively.
• Interpret production drawings and instructions accurately.
• Perform quality inspections pre- and post-installation to guarantee high standards.
• Collaborate closely with production and project teams to meet deadlines.
• Maintain cleanliness of worksite and upkeep tools and equipment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols during production and installation tasks.

Qualifications and Experience

• 4 to 10 years of experience specifically in signage fabrication and installation.
• Proven skills in applying vinyl, laminating, and mounting graphics.
• Hands-on experience with ACP cladding, channel letters, and structural signage installation.
• Competent use of power tools and fastening equipment.
• Ability to read and analyze measurements, drawings, and production details.
• Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality craftsmanship.
• Excellent organizational abilities and time management skills.
• Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
• Physically able to work at heights and handle manual lifting tasks.
• Open to travel for onsite project installations as required.
• Proficient English reading, writing, and basic communication.
• GCC work experience is advantageous.
