Sign Production and Installation Specialist

About the Role

An established company based in Doha, Qatar is seeking an experienced Sign Production and Installation Specialist to join their team onsite. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience with indoor and outdoor signage fabrication, production, and installation projects. Experience within the GCC region is highly favored. This role requires proficiency in handling various signage types and installation techniques while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and install a broad array of indoor and outdoor signs.
• Prepare surfaces and substrates for applying vinyl graphics and signage.
• Precisely apply vinyl graphics as per production specifications.
• Mount, laminate, and finish printed graphics ensuring quality is upheld.
• Install signage products, including Aluminium Composite Panel (ACP) cladding, 3D channel letters, acrylic and metal letters, large-format vinyl graphics, banners, post and panel signs, directional and wayfinding signs, frames, and concrete base installations.
• Operate power tools and other installation equipment safely.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and installation plans accurately.
• Conduct quality inspections before and after installations.
• Collaborate with production and project teams to deliver projects on time.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and keep a safe and organized workplace.
• Comply with health and safety procedures consistently.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum 4 to 5 years' experience in sign production and installation.
• Proven expertise in fabricating and installing indoor and outdoor signage.
• Hands-on skills in vinyl application, lamination, and graphic mounting.
• Experience with ACP cladding, channel letters, and structural sign installations.
• Competent in using installation tools and power equipment.
• Able to read and understand technical installation drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent organizational skills and effective time management.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Physically capable of working at heights and handling demanding tasks.
• Willingness to travel as required for installation assignments.
• Proficiency in English for reading and basic communication.
• GCC region experience is strongly preferred.
