Sign Production and Installation Specialist

Position Overview

A reputable company in Qatar seeks a skilled Sign Production and Installation Specialist with 4 to 5 years of experience to join their team in Lusail, Qatar. This hands-on role involves fabrication, production, and installation of commercial signage, with a focus on quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and install a broad range of indoor and outdoor signage products.
• Prepare surfaces and substrates for vinyl graphic applications.
• Accurately apply vinyl graphics as per production standards.
• Laminate, mount, and finish printed graphics while ensuring quality.
• Install signage including ACP cladding, 3D channel letters, acrylic and metal letters, large-scale vinyl graphics, banners, post and panel signs, wayfinding signage, and sign frames with concrete bases.
• Operate power tools and installation equipment safely.
• Interpret technical drawings, measurements, and installation plans.
• Conduct thorough quality checks before and after installations.
• Collaborate with project and production teams to meet timelines.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and uphold a safe, orderly work environment.
• Adhere strictly to workplace health and safety protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in signage production and installation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of both indoor and outdoor signage fabrication techniques.
• Proficiency in vinyl application, lamination, and graphic mounting processes.
• Experience with ACP cladding, channel letters, and structural signage installations.
• Competent use of installation tools and power equipment.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Detail-oriented with strong quality standards.
• Good organization and time management abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Physically capable of working at heights and managing demanding physical tasks.
• Willingness to travel for installation assignments.
• Proficient English skills for reading and basic communication.
• Experience working in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries is highly advantageous.
