Key Responsibilities

• Check completed work against specifications and quality standards.
• Fix damaged crates when needed.
• Move finished crates to the shipping area and help keep the work area supplied and orderly.

Candidate Profile

The employer is seeking someone with carpentry or general construction experience, although the right applicant can be trained. You should be comfortable handling measuring tools and saws, following written instructions and simple diagrams, and doing basic arithmetic and measurements. Clear communication with coworkers is also important.

Education and Physical Requirements

A high school diploma or GED is preferred. The work involves lifting 50 lbs or more, standing or walking for long periods, and working in a setting without climate control. The environment is a warehouse/manufacturing space with temperatures that can vary from hot to cold and a moderate noise level.
