Position Overview

In the role of Doorman (m/w/d), you will be the initial point of contact at the entrance—alert, confident, and service-focused. We are seeking dedicated security personnel to work at New Yorker, ensuring a safe shopping environment. You will handle challenging situations calmly and professionally while maintaining excellent customer service.

Competitive hourly wage of 18.15 € (base pay 15.15 € plus 3.00 € additional non-tariff allowance and applicable tariff supplements)

Primary Responsibilities

Welcoming customers and visitors at the entrance area
Conducting presence and visual inspections
De-escalating tense or critical situations
Enforcing the property’s rules and regulations
Assisting store staff with security-related concerns
Documenting noteworthy incidents

Work Schedule

Workdays: Wednesday through Saturday
Hours: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Candidate Profile

Certification in accordance with Section 34a of the German Trade Regulation Act (higher qualifications are a plus)
Proficient German language skills, both spoken and written
Basic English language skills are advantageous
Professional, confident, and well-groomed appearance
Strong teamwork and communication abilities
Clean police clearance certificate
Current First Aid and Fire Safety certificates (renewals may be required)
