Role Overview

The Showroom Assistant position is a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Dubai, UAE. This role involves greeting visitors at the showroom, offering detailed product insights, and assisting clients in selecting furniture that matches their lifestyle and design preferences. Daily tasks include organizing and maintaining product displays, ensuring showroom cleanliness and orderliness, and supporting visual merchandising efforts.

Additionally, the assistant aids sales processes by preparing price quotations, handling order processing, and liaising with internal divisions to guarantee a seamless customer experience. The job also encompasses responding to inquiries via personal interaction, telephone, and digital channels and may involve basic administrative duties such as updating inventory records and scheduling client consultations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills to engage professionally with a diverse clientele.
• Prior experience in showroom or retail sales environments, preferably related to furniture, interiors, or lifestyle products.
• Consultative sales skills to comprehend client requirements, present suitable options, and support sales completions.

• Ability to work full-time on-site in Dubai, including standing and moving within the showroom for prolonged periods.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other languages common in Dubai is beneficial.
• Basic computer proficiency for operating point-of-sale systems, managing emails, and using inventory or CRM software.
• Previous roles involving customer interaction or retail sales are advantageous; experience with interior design or furniture sales is an added benefit.
