About the Role

Green Terra Dry Cleaners is seeking a dependable and meticulous Shirt Presser to become part of our dedicated dry cleaning staff. The successful applicant will be tasked with pressing and finishing dress shirts and other apparel to meet stringent quality benchmarks, all while ensuring productivity in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial pressing machinery to expertly press and finish dress shirts and garments.
• Conduct thorough inspections of garments, checking for any remaining wrinkles, stains, or quality issues prior to finalization.
• Adhere strictly to specific garment care guidelines to prevent any damage to delicate fabrics.
• Systematically organize and prepare finished orders, ensuring they are ready for customer collection.
• Uphold a consistently clean and safe working environment.
• Provide support for general dry-cleaning tasks as required.

Requirements

• Prior experience in dry cleaning or garment pressing is advantageous.
• Possess a keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality results.
• Must be capable of standing for prolonged durations.
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to thrive and maintain performance in a high-volume, fast-paced workplace.

This is a part-time, onsite position located in Burlington, Ontario, Canada.
