Role Overview

The Shift Supervisor leads the restaurant team throughout their shift, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high standards of food quality, customer service, safety, and cleanliness. This position demands a hands-on leader who supports, coaches, and inspires team members while thriving in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and organize the team during assigned shifts.
• Oversee team performance and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
• Maintain consistent compliance with food, service, and safety standards.
• Manage customer inquiries and professionally resolve any issues.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
• Monitor inventory levels and support basic stock management.
• Handle cash procedures, operate POS systems, and assist with basic reconciliations.

• Communicate shift performance and concerns effectively with management.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Prior supervisory experience in hospitality, quick service restaurants, or retail environments.
• Strong leadership abilities coupled with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Capability to train, motivate, and coach team members effectively.
• Solid knowledge of food safety procedures, customer service excellence, and operational standards.
• Aptitude for multitasking, working efficiently under pressure, and prioritizing tasks.
