About the Role
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is a global technology leader passionate about fostering the growth of vibrant tech professionals. Currently, we are seeking an experienced SharePoint Administrator to join our team in Chennai. The candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining SharePoint infrastructure to ensure seamless operations and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure SharePoint 2019 environments.
- Manage SharePoint migrations efficiently.
- Oversee SharePoint sites, paths, and document versioning processes.
- Monitor and maintain the health of SharePoint servers through regular checks.
- Handle SharePoint security including firewall management.
- Deploy third-party and custom WSP solution packages as needed.
- Perform performance tuning to optimize SharePoint functionality.
- Maintain detailed records of all SharePoint updates, maintenance, and activities.
Preferred Skills and Tools
- Experience with SharePoint 2010 and 2019 versions.
- Proficiency in tools such as ShareGate, SharePoint Designer, InfoPath Form Designer, Fiddler, and Power Apps.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server for database management.
Qualifications and Eligibility
- Completed 15 years of full-time education.
- Achieved a minimum of 50% in 10th grade, 12th grade, undergraduate, and postgraduate studies if applicable.
