Role Summary
This position is for a Shaft Mechanics professional with strong CREO-based design experience. The role involves developing engineering solutions, preparing drawings, and working closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams in a dynamic product engineering environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and retain detailed knowledge of KONE products, technical design standards, and product constraints.
- Review contracts and technical specifications to shape practical engineering solutions.
- Create design and manufacturing drawings as needed for the assigned work.
- Factor in safety, maintenance, ease of manufacturing, and environmental sustainability while designing.
- Apply strong understanding of structural design and material behavior.
- Keep stakeholders informed on engineering status and progress in a timely manner.
- Take part in team discussions and contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Complete assigned tasks independently and within deadlines.
- Support global engineering efforts and follow change management procedures.
- Help improve engineering functions, workflows, and tools.
- Work effectively with others and communicate clearly.
- Experience in the elevator domain and familiarity with EN codes will be an added advantage.
- A manufacturing background will also be considered beneficial.
Requirements
- B.Tech / B.E. in any specialization.
- 5 to 13 years of design experience.
- Hands-on expertise in CREO is mandatory.
- Prior experience in shaft mechanics and product design is required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Exposure to elevator industry practices and EN codes is preferred.
- Manufacturing exposure is an added advantage.
