Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and patient Shadow Teacher to support a 7-year-old child with mild autism attending Upper KG at Amity International School, Lucknow. The role requires aiding the child in classroom engagement, communication, and social skills, as well as helping him follow the school's routines and academic activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate active classroom participation and help maintain focus during lessons.
- Support effective communication and social interactions with teachers and peers.
- Assist in adherence to school routines, instructions, and academic tasks.
- Maintain regular coordination with parents and school personnel to monitor progress.
Work Schedule
- Location: Amity International School, Lucknow
- Timing: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Days: Monday to Friday
Qualifications and Skills
- Prior experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, or other special needs.
- Preferred educational background in Special Education, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or related disciplines.
- Strong communication skills, patience, and a positive outlook toward inclusive education.
