Role overview
Culligan Ireland is looking for a field-based Service Technician in County Cork to support the delivery of water cooler and filtration services. The role focuses on ensuring customers receive reliable, high-quality support through installation, servicing, maintenance, exchanges, collections, and site surveys.
This is a permanent full-time position, offered subject to a 6-month probationary period. The role is based in Cork and requires regular travel across the local area as part of day-to-day field operations.
Compensation
The salary for this position is €32,000 per year, paid monthly, and includes an annual tax-free meal allowance of €4,000.
Key responsibilities
- Make sure equipment is operating correctly and continues to meet customer requirements.
- Visit customer sites to complete surveys, installations, repairs, services, exchanges, and collections.
- Identify faults and carry out practical fixes in an effective manner.
- Work to an organised daily route while staying adaptable for urgent or reactive jobs.
- Keep van stock, tools, and inventory at the right levels to complete work efficiently.
- Log service activity accurately using digital devices, with a tablet supplied for the role.
- Deliver a professional, polite, and customer-focused experience at every visit.
Requirements
- You must hold a full, valid driving licence with no more than 6 points and no disqualifying offences.
- A minimum of 3 years of driving experience is required.
- You should have a solid background in diagnosing and resolving technical or mechanical problems.
- Good knowledge of the local geography and nearby areas is important.
- The ability to work on your own and follow planned schedules is essential.
