Service Technician - Pool and Water Treatment

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out regular maintenance and cleaning of swimming pools, spas, and cooling towers with a focus on filtration systems, pumps, motors, and other associated equipment.
• Conduct water chemistry tests, such as pH, chlorine, alkalinity, and hardness, and take necessary corrective action to maintain optimal water quality.
• Perform preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance tasks to reduce equipment downtime and extend operational lifespan.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to mechanical, electrical, and other equipment including commercial dishwasher machines.
• Ensure strict compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Keep detailed records concerning maintenance work, chemical usage, inspections, and performance monitoring of cleaning tools and machinery.
• Respond swiftly to service requests and emergencies, prioritizing customer satisfaction throughout service delivery.
• Coordinate with facility management to organize maintenance and repair schedules.
• Address customer queries regarding service contracts and conditions.
• Identify potential sales opportunities and customer feedback to help refine offerings.
• Educate customers about the features and proper use of purchased products.

Candidate Profile

• Practical experience in pool maintenance, water treatment, or servicing cooling towers.
• Sound understanding of water chemistry and related treatment procedures.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining equipment such as pumps, filters, dosing units, and cooling tower components.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Physical fitness to handle manual tasks and work in outdoor environments.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.
• Holding a Class 3 Driving License is advantageous but not mandatory.
