Role overview
This opportunity is for a Service Trainee based in Eastern Saudi Arabia at a newly established, modern industrial scientific facility. It is intended for early-career candidates who want practical exposure to technical service work, instrumentation, and laboratory support. Working with experienced engineers and specialists, you will gain hands-on knowledge of installing, calibrating, and maintaining advanced analytical equipment used across industrial and energy environments.
The position is a practical entry point for someone who wants to build a career in field service and technical support while contributing to a growing operation in the Kingdom.
Key responsibilities
- Support experienced technicians during the setup and commissioning of precise scientific instruments.
- Learn and assist with routine inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs to keep equipment operating reliably.
- Help calibrate instruments in line with Saudi Arabian requirements and relevant international standards.
- Record service activity, equipment status, and spare parts usage accurately in digital systems.
- Follow all HSE practices and comply with Saudi industrial safety regulations at all times.
- Join field service visits to customer locations to observe client interaction, troubleshooting, and professional service delivery.
What we are looking for
- A recent diploma or associate degree holder in Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Applied Physics, or another closely related technical discipline.
- Strong English proficiency, since technical documentation is in English, along with Arabic language ability.
- Good mechanical or electrical troubleshooting aptitude and interest in practical, hands-on technology work.
- A valid Saudi driving license, or a willingness to obtain one, plus readiness to travel to industrial locations when needed.
- A positive, learning-oriented mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural environment.
