Service Engineer - Fire & Life Safety (FLS)

Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified Service Engineer specializing in Fire & Life Safety (FLS) systems to be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This position requires candidates with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant industry experience and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct both preventive and corrective maintenance across various systems such as Fire & Life Safety (FLS), Security, Building Management Systems (BMS), Audio-Visual (AV), Extra Low Voltage (ELV), Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Fire Fighting (FF), and Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC).
• Monitor system functionality diligently, respond promptly to service requests, and adhere strictly to service level agreements (SLAs).
• Identify and analyze faults, perform root cause investigations, and resolve technical problems efficiently to reduce system downtime.
• Execute regular system inspections, upgrades, and preventive servicing while maintaining comprehensive and precise service records.
• Oversee materials coordination and project tracking to ensure smooth project execution, suggesting enhancements to system operations as necessary.
• Uphold high standards of safety, security, and information security during service delivery, ensuring excellent customer service throughout.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Two to three years of professional experience in maintenance and servicing of FLS and related systems.
• Robust understanding of multiple systems including FLS, Security, BMS, AV, ICT, FF, and HVAC.
• Proficiency in English and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
