Role overview
This permanent full-time position is for a Service Driver / Customer Delivery Representative based in West Cork. The role starts from home and ends at home each day, with responsibility for visiting a range of customers, handling service requests, and delivering practical solutions on site.
The job carries a starting salary of €29,350, with an on-target earnings figure of €32,500. In this role, you will install, fit, collect, and swap units or products as needed, while maintaining a high standard of service. You may also spot opportunities for extra sales and contribute toward business performance goals.
Key duties
- Complete customer service visits and deliveries in a professional, courteous way.
- Use problem-solving skills to choose the most effective solution for each customer need.
- Carry out on-site service work, including installation, fitting, collection, and replacement of units or products.
- Share timely updates and feedback with service management regarding customer requests and related matters.
- Make sure products and services provided are suitable for the customer’s needs.
- Help shape route planning for new service requirements.
- Follow company health and safety policies at all times.
- Work to ensure customer expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
- Identify and support opportunities for additional sales where appropriate.
Requirements
Applicants should ideally have a full clean Irish or EU driving licence. The role also calls for the ability to organise and prioritise work to meet deadlines, strong written and verbal communication skills, a firm focus on customer service, strong attention to detail, and the confidence to work independently with a positive, can-do approach.
