Job description
About The Warehouse Group
The Warehouse Group is home to some of Aotearoa New Zealand’s best-known retail brands, including The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery, and Noel Leeming. The group continues to strengthen its reputation by focusing on engaging customer experiences and supporting public-good and sustainability initiatives.
About the role
This is a lively part-time opportunity for someone who values outstanding customer care. Based at the store’s service desk, you will be a key point of contact for shoppers and will help keep day-to-day service running smoothly.
The roster for this position is Friday and Saturday, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
In this role, you will assist customers with questions, offer guidance, and handle service desk transactions such as returns, exchanges, refunds, and transfers. You will also support the Loss Prevention team with security-related tasks and contribute to a safe shopping environment. In addition, you may be asked to help oversee the checkout area to ensure transactions are completed efficiently.
About you
The ideal candidate is collaborative, communicates well, stays calm under pressure, and brings a strong customer-first mindset. A genuine interest in delivering excellent service and taking on new challenges will help you succeed in this role.
Qualifications
Experience in retail, hospitality, or another customer-facing environment is preferred. You should also bring a positive, can-do attitude, good attention to detail, and the physical ability to lift heavier items, climb ladders, and remain on your feet for extended periods.
What we offer
The Warehouse Group offers a workplace where you can grow and build a long-term career. Benefits include a paid day off to volunteer in your community through Here for Good Leave, access to a Team Card with meaningful savings across the group’s brands, and additional perks that may be available when you join.

This position is based onsite in Dargaville, Northland, New Zealand.
