Role overview
Based in New Plymouth, this position is focused on delivering a high-quality service experience to everyone who reaches out to the Service Experience team. The emphasis is on solving problems, enabling people with the right tools, and improving outcomes for Powerco rather than simply closing tickets.

What you'll be doing
- Support colleagues with effective IT assistance and help ensure they have the tools they need from their first day and beyond.
- Handle incidents and service requests by communicating clearly, prioritising work, escalating when needed, and following through to resolution.
- Build, record, and use knowledge so issues and requests can be resolved quickly and consistently.
- Look for ways to improve team workflows, processes, and systems so service delivery becomes more efficient.
- Focus on creating a positive, productive experience for every person who contacts the Service Experience team.
Experience and suitability
Powerco is especially interested in candidates with at least 1 year of experience in IT support or a similar role. The ideal applicant will be committed to service excellence, comfortable working in a collaborative environment, and motivated to improve how support is delivered.
