Job description
About the role
This is a Band 3 permanent full-time position based in Hobart, with a starting salary of $83,108 per year plus superannuation. The overall compensation package can be discussed with the chosen candidate and will reflect relevant skills and experience.
The Service Delivery Specialist works offsite and is not a typical service desk or desktop support position. The role sits close to the delivery of digital products, helping ensure they are provided efficiently and effectively for TasNetworks and its customers.
In this position, you will deliver operational and technical support across the business, handle service requests with professionalism, and maintain a strong focus on customer service. You will also troubleshoot digital and hardware solutions, support end-to-end processes, and contribute to continuous improvement across multiple platforms.
About you
You should bring a flexible and proactive approach to customer support, with the ability to build positive working relationships across the business. Experience in a digital support function and sound business knowledge will help you succeed.
A friendly, practical, and self-driven attitude is important, along with the ability to take initiative, manage priorities, and work across a range of business locations. TasNetworks is also open to applicants with general customer service experience who are eager to learn and develop within a collaborative Digital team.
What’s on offer
This is a permanent full-time opportunity based in Hobart, with an attractive pay and benefits package. TasNetworks promotes a supportive workplace where safety is central to how the organisation operates.
Benefits
- Access to strong professional development support through a modern A&D team
- Flexible working arrangements
- Paid volunteer leave
- Free onsite parking
- Onsite gyms, or a gym rebate where an onsite gym is not available
- Provision of the equipment needed to perform well in the role
- An organisation that actively looks for innovative ways to attract the right people
How to apply
Applicants should include a cover letter explaining how their background matches the role, along with an up-to-date resume. A position description is available as part of the application process.
Applications close at 11:59pm on Tuesday 21 July 2026. Applications may be reviewed as they are received, and recruitment could begin before the closing date.
