Service Crew / Food Runner

Role Overview

This position supports the restaurant floor by making sure meals reach the right guests quickly, safely, and with the right presentation. The role also helps keep the service area organized and assists the team throughout busy shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Take dishes from the kitchen to the correct tables in a timely and accurate manner.
• Check that each plate is properly presented before it leaves the kitchen pass.
• Keep in regular contact with servers and kitchen staff regarding delays, missing items, or other service concerns.
• Offer simple dish explanations to guests when required.
• Help clear tables and reset them before and after guests are served.
• Support the front-of-house team by bringing water, condiments, and extra cutlery as needed.
• Move hot food, plates, and trays carefully while following safe handling practices.
• Keep the service pass and dining area tidy and well arranged.
• Follow all hygiene and safety rules during every shift.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates with previous experience in food running or similar service support roles are preferred. The job requires someone who can work in outdoor summer conditions, has familiarity with specialty coffee, and can remain alert during fast-paced service. Strong coordination, clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask are important. Applicants should also be energetic, dependable, service-minded, and physically capable of carrying trays and covering long walking distances during busy periods.

This role is based in Al Dhaid, Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates and is a full-time, on-site position.
