About the Role

A prominent high street fashion supplier is seeking a skilled Senior or Mid-Weight Womenswear Designer to enhance their dynamic team. This permanent position is based in London with hybrid working options. The role focuses on designing commercially viable and fashion-forward jersey apparel for high street retail partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop trend-driven womenswear collections focused on various jersey products, including dresses, tops, skirts, and bottoms.
• Conduct trend analysis to inform seasonal themes, colour schemes, and fabric selections.
• Produce detailed CADs and technical specification packs utilizing Adobe Illustrator.
• Collaborate closely with sourcing, print, sales, and manufacturing teams to ensure alignment and quality standards.
• Oversee sample creation and development, ensuring deliverables meet customer requirements.
• Adapt product designs in response to customer briefs and feedback.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience designing womenswear jersey for the UK high street market.
• Sharp understanding of current trends paired with strong commercial design ability.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop applications.
• Highly organized, proactive, and capable of performing efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Possesses a cooperative attitude with strong teamwork skills.
