Role Overview
We are hiring a seasoned Senior/Lead US IT Recruiter to manage end-to-end recruiting processes, mentor junior recruiters, and ensure excellence in delivery. This role focuses primarily on US IT recruitment with some responsibilities recruiting IT talent in India, operating mainly during US Eastern Standard Time business hours.
Working Hours
The role requires working shifts aligned with US Eastern Time (EST): 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM IST during Daylight Saving Time and 7:00 PM – 4:00 AM IST otherwise.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive recruitment efforts for Fortune 500 clients, specializing in niche technology roles including AI/GenAI, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, Snowflake, AWS/Azure/GCP, ServiceNow, Salesforce, SAP, Java, .NET, Python, DevOps, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, QA Automation, Project Management, Scrum Master, Architect, and Technical Program Management roles.
- Recruit candidates holding US citizenship, Green Cards, H-1B, TN, EAD, OPT, CPT, and GC-EAD work authorizations.
- Source candidates via platforms such as Dice, LinkedIn Recruiter, Monster, CareerBuilder, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and internal ATS systems.
- Conduct technical screening of candidates and validate resumes against LinkedIn profiles.
- Verify employment history and work authorization status; perform reference checks.
- Coordinate interviews with clients, manage offer negotiations, and maintain strong candidate relationships.
Leadership and Process Enhancement
- Mentor and guide junior recruiters to enhance team performance.
- Review submissions prior to client delivery ensuring quality and compliance.
- Refine recruiting processes and uphold candidate verification standards.
- Meet and track recruiting KPIs including submission quality, interview-to-submission, offer-to-join ratios, and candidate retention.
- Prepare and submit recruiting reports and metrics regularly.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 6 to 10+ years of experience in US IT recruitment.
- Familiarity with Tier-1 vendors, MSPs, and direct client support.
- Strong understanding of US work authorization policies.
- Experience with VMS/MSP environments.
- Expertise in Boolean search techniques and LinkedIn Recruiter usage.
- Excellent negotiation abilities coupled with strong English communication skills.
- Capability to work independently during EST business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading recruitment teams.
- Prior recruitment experience in AI, Cloud, Data, and Cybersecurity domains.
- Familiarity with ATS platforms such as Bullhorn, Ceipal, JobDiva, Recruit CRM, or equivalents.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting for Fortune 500 organizations.
