Role Overview

We seek an experienced Visual UI Designer skilled in creating polished, contemporary, and distinctive interfaces for B2C responsive web and mobile applications. This role requires hands-on design capabilities rather than solely UX research or coordination. The candidate should demonstrate strong visual judgment and independently design full screens, design systems, original icons, badges, and other supporting visual assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Design high-quality, responsive UIs for desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms.
• Convert product specifications and reference materials into wireframes, high-fidelity UI designs, and interactive prototypes.
• Develop and manage organized Figma components, variants, variables, design tokens, and reusable design systems.
• Create original graphical elements such as icons, badges, and vector illustrations.
• Structure information-dense screens effectively using hierarchy, typography, spacing, color, and interactive states.
• Design comprehensive UI states including loading, empty, error, disabled, hover, selected, and responsive variations.
• Deliver developer-ready files accompanied by clear design specifications.
• Conduct visual quality assurance reviews on implemented screens and provide detailed feedback.
• Enhance existing interfaces thoughtfully without unnecessarily reworking established workflows.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 4 years professional experience in UI, visual, or product design.
• Advanced expertise in Figma, including proficiency with Auto Layout, components, variants, variables, and prototyping.
• Strong abilities in visual design fundamentals: typography, composition, spacing, color theory, and information hierarchy.
• Demonstrated experience designing responsive web and mobile interfaces.
• Capability to create original visual assets instead of relying solely on templates, UI kits, stock assets, or AI-generated layouts.
• Proficient with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or comparable vector and image editing software.
• A robust design portfolio showcasing polished production work with clear attribution of personal contributions.
• Effective written communication skills and capability to work autonomously within remote teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in designing information-rich B2C products such as dashboards, fintech platforms, e-commerce sites, entertainment, or live-data applications.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, responsive design implementation, and frontend development constraints.
• Experience collaborating closely with React frontend developers.
• Skills in motion design or micro-interactions.
• Track record in reviewing implemented UI for visual precision.

Working Conditions and Compensation

• This is a full-time remote opportunity requiring about 8 hours per day from Monday to Friday.
• Applicants must maintain at least 4 hours overlapping with Korean business hours.
• Monthly remuneration ranges from approximately $10,000 to $15,000 USD, depending on experience and portfolio quality.
• The selection process may involve a brief paid design exercise.
