Job description
Role Overview
This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing resort operations across multiple regions, ensuring service quality, financial discipline, and consistent compliance with company standards. The position is based in Phoenix, Arizona and requires a strong background in hospitality operations leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Safeguard HHS quality standards across facilities in several regions.
- Lead budget performance efforts to control costs and improve profitability.
- Handle contract renewals and addendums, ensuring pricing aligns with company policy.
- Drive adoption of new programs and initiatives at the account level.
- Oversee sites with elevated workers’ compensation activity and support safer work practices.
- Set up and execute startup procedures for newly onboarded accounts.
- Define expectations and performance targets, then ensure compliance across multiple accounts.
- Coach direct reports, strengthen leadership capability, and build a pipeline of future leaders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partner facility administration teams.
- Review performance data and make operational adjustments to meet facility, budget, and compliance objectives.
- Provide direct, hands-on support whenever needed to achieve strong outcomes.
Required Experience and Skills
The ideal candidate brings extensive multi-region operations leadership experience within the resort and hospitality sectors, along with strong business judgment and the ability to lead through influence. This role also calls for confidence working with budgets, contracts, compliance standards, and account-level performance.
Additional Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience managing operations across multiple regions.
- At least 5 years of experience in the resort industry.
- At least 5 years of experience in a hospitality executive leadership role.
- Strong computer proficiency, including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and ordering systems.
- Ability to travel at least 75% of the time.
- Willingness to relocate for promotion opportunities.
- Preferred, though not mandatory: fluency in languages other than English, especially Spanish.
- Preferred, though not mandatory: knowledge of OSHA and related regulatory requirements.
