- Develop durable relationships with major suppliers and strategic business partners.
- Improve supplier outcomes through governance, contract oversight, and performance tracking.
- Create procurement standards, policies, and operating practices that raise efficiency and consistency.
- Work in close partnership with Finance, Legal, Operations, Technology, Product, and other business functions to align procurement work with broader goals.
- Lead negotiations on critical supplier contracts while balancing commercial value with long-term partnership health.
- Strengthen procurement efficiency through automation, analytics, and ongoing process enhancements.
- Increase visibility into spend and category performance using data-driven methods and category planning.
- Recruit, coach, and develop strong procurement leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Track performance through operational and financial measures tied to procurement outcomes.
- Promote a team culture built on collaboration, ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have led complex procurement functions, managed large portfolios, and delivered transformation in enterprise environments.
A bachelor’s degree is required. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
Preferred Background
Experience with publicly traded companies or fast-scaling organizations is an advantage. Prior work in technology, healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, or similarly complex settings is also valuable. Exposure to managing distributed teams, procurement analytics, supplier performance programs, and enterprise sourcing methods would be especially useful.
