About Mubadala

Mubadala is a global investment company managing assets worth $385 billion across more than 50 countries. With five international offices, it pursues sustainable financial results while addressing major global challenges. The company aims to double its portfolio within the next decade and seeks professionals with corporate expertise to contribute locally and globally, including in cities like London, Beijing, and New York.

Role Overview

Join a dynamic team central to Abu Dhabi's economic diversification and global investment initiatives by partnering with leading financial institutions worldwide.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic business partner to Business Unit leadership, providing strategic and financial counsel, overseeing financial planning, budgeting, commercial finance, reporting, controls, and governance aligned with corporate policies.
  • Provide data-driven insights and advanced analytics to optimize portfolio strategies and financial performance.
  • Lead transaction support activities including deal planning, financial due diligence, modeling, risk evaluation, and valuation throughout the deal lifecycle.
  • Review financing assumptions, capital structures, and risk management, creating robust cost of capital frameworks and conducting Monte Carlo analyses.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders such as legal advisors, bankers, and investment partners to streamline deal execution and challenge assumptions prior to investment committee assessments.
  • Deliver corporate finance expertise beyond mergers and acquisitions by advising on capital optimization, debt financing, and risk mitigation tactics like hedging interest rate and currency risks.
  • Lead business planning cycles, portfolio return assessments, and financial trend analyses using advanced investment analytics.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with external advisors, investors, and industry players, while partnering with business development teams to identify new merger and acquisition advisory prospects.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess 16 to 18 years of experience with solid front-office transaction execution and commercial finance skills.
  • Expertise in deal execution processes including financial due diligence, valuation, modeling, and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience collaborating on complex global investment transactions as a strategic finance advisor.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a background in investment banking, private equity, sovereign wealth funds, or similar investment platforms.
  • While industry-agnostic, experience in Real Estate and Infrastructure deals is highly valued.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and work cross-functionally with finance, investment, legal, and external parties to ensure successful deal outcomes.

What We Offer

  • An influential position with meaningful social and financial impact.
  • A supportive and talented work environment.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits, including performance-based pay.
  • Flexible hybrid working arrangements with remote work permitted up to five days monthly.
  • Opportunities for professional growth through continuous learning.
  • An inclusive culture founded on Accountability, Inspiration, Integrity, and Partnership.

Additional Information

  • Remote work up to five days per month is supported.
