Role Summary

The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Strategy Execution holds a pivotal executive role responsible for translating corporate strategy into actionable execution, steering organizational transformation, and achieving key business targets. Reporting typically to the CEO, CSO, COO, or President, this role involves building the strategic execution framework, managing flagship projects, and ensuring strategy-driven business outcomes. The SVP acts as a critical link between strategy development and operational teams, fostering cross-departmental collaboration to secure strategic goals, sustainable growth, and long-term value.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic execution framework and governance system aligned with Board and CEO directives.
• Convert strategic objectives into annual operational plans with clear roadmaps, key tasks, and actionable steps, supported by monitoring systems.
• Establish management structures for strategic KPIs, OKRs, and Balanced Scorecard metrics; oversee progress tracking, data analysis, and corrective action plans to boost organizational execution and operational results.
• Lead and govern major corporate transformation initiatives and strategic projects, managing scope, budget, risks, resources, and quality to ensure timely delivery.
• Spearhead business transformation and organizational changes, designing implementation plans to optimize processes, enhance agility, and adapt to evolving markets.
• Set up operational analytics systems and produce frequent reports on revenue growth, profitability, efficiency, and market performance; offer risk assessments and growth opportunity identification for strategic decision-making.
• Coordinate strategic tasks across departments including Strategy, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Product, R&D, Supply Chain, and HR to maximize synergy and resource effectiveness.
• Drive continuous operational improvement by identifying bottlenecks, introducing Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile methodologies, and cultivating a culture of excellence.
• Champion digital transformation of strategy execution by implementing enterprise strategy management platforms, data analytics systems, and real-time dashboards for informed adjustments.
• Build and develop a high-performing strategy execution management team fostering a results-oriented culture with key roles like strategy leads, project heads, and transformation experts.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Strategic Management, Economics, Operations Management, Project Management, or related disciplines.
• Advanced degrees such as MBA, EMBA, or Master’s in Strategic Management are preferred.
• Over 20 years of experience in corporate strategy, operations management, management consulting, or business transformation.
• 8 to 15+ years occupying senior leadership positions such as SVP of Strategy Execution, VP Strategy, Chief Strategy Officer, or Executive Director.
• Proven background managing strategy execution in large conglomerates, multinational companies, or rapidly growing enterprises.
• Demonstrated expertise in corporate transformation, organizational change initiatives, digitalization projects, and comprehensive project management.
