Role Overview

Community Hospital Corporation (CHC) is looking for a senior-level operations executive to lead hospital operations, strengthen strategic direction, and support the hospital board by building strong relationships. The position is based at CHC’s corporate headquarters in Plano, Texas, and is part of a workplace recognized as a 2026 Dallas Morning News Top Workplace and included in Becker’s list of 165 Top Places to Work in Healthcare.

This opportunity comes with a collaborative environment and a broad benefits package that includes paid fitness memberships, tuition reimbursement, a generous PTO allowance, and free covered parking.

What You Will Do

Reporting to the COO, this leader will oversee hospital operations and help drive operationally focused consulting engagements from analysis through delivery. The role serves as the primary point of contact between clients and CHC Consulting, with responsibility for day-to-day oversight of consulting projects, as well as support for CHC-owned, leased, and managed hospitals.

The SVP will also design, implement, coordinate, and supervise CHC programs and services that support and improve operations at general acute care hospitals owned by, controlled by, affiliated with, or otherwise supported by Community Hospital Corporation. In addition, the role requires ongoing coordination with the President/CEO and/or EVP/COO to ensure the continuing needs of supported organizations are addressed.

Major Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach the subject matter expert team assigned to consulting engagements, and deliver projects according to the agreed scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Partner with clients, CHC’s owned, leased, and managed hospitals, and prospects to identify practical solutions to healthcare challenges.
  • Build and sustain strong, positive relationships with clients and CHC-affiliated hospitals.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and recommend corrective actions or improvements in a timely manner.
  • Spot issues affecting clients and CHC-affiliated hospitals and work with others to resolve them where possible.
  • Take part in business development, including meetings or calls with potential clients, and help prepare and present proposals for consulting and management services.
  • Maintain regular communication with corporate staff on consulting and management services.
  • Coordinate regularly with the CHC Consulting business development team.
  • Support CHC’s mission, goals, and organizational objectives.

  • Excellent relationship-building, sales, and presentation skills.

  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and reliable follow-through.
  • Leadership ability with a customer-service mindset.
  • Quick problem recognition, investigation, and resolution skills.
  • Ability to identify operational and administrative issues at both strategic and functional levels.

  • Knowledge of healthcare operations, including the factors affecting hospital and physician businesses.
