Senior Vice President & Head - Facilities Management, Corporate Services & Workplace Experience

Role Overview

This executive leadership position requires overseeing comprehensive facilities management, engineering operations, workplace experience, and corporate services for a major banking institution in the UAE. The role focuses on managing infrastructure, workplace innovation, corporate administrative functions, and digital transformation to enhance operational resilience, employee satisfaction, and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full spectrum of enterprise facilities management and engineering activities, ensuring maintenance of critical building systems and asset lifecycles.
• Implement robust strategies to optimize engineering operations, compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards, and effective governance of outsourced service providers.
• Develop and execute workplace experience initiatives that boost employee engagement, wellbeing, and productivity through innovative technologies and analytics-driven utilization.
• Foster a hospitality-centered service culture and establish excellence standards across workplace services.
• Direct all corporate services including travel management, fleet operations, government relations, permits, and statutory compliance.
• Drive operational efficiency, standardization, and continuous improvement in service delivery.
• Champion digital transformation by leading deployment of CAFM/IWMS systems, smart and IoT-enabled building technologies, and predictive maintenance tools.
• Oversee financial management of operational and capital budgets, implement cost optimization, and enforce governance with KPIs, procurement planning, and contract management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is mandatory; an MBA or Master's in related fields preferred.
• Relevant professional certifications such as CFM, FMP, IWFM, PMP, PRINCE2, LEED AP, WELL AP, NEBOSH, IOSH are highly valued.
• Between 18 to 20 years of progressive leadership in facilities, engineering, corporate real estate, or workplace experience management.
• At least 10 years directing enterprise-wide facilities and workplace operations across multiple sites, including management of critical infrastructure such as data centers.

Technical Expertise

• Comprehensive understanding of HVAC systems, chiller plants, electrical infrastructure including substations and UPS, fire and safety systems, BMS, and MEP systems.
• Experience with smart building technologies, CAFM/IWMS platform integrations, predictive maintenance schemes, and automation endeavors.
• Demonstrated success in elevating operational performance, asset dependability, sustainability, and enhancing overall workplace environment.
