About the Role
Skytora Travels is seeking an experienced Senior Travel Consultant to join its Mangaluru office in a full-time, on-site capacity. The role is centered on building memorable travel experiences across domestic and international markets, including luxury holidays, honeymoon arrangements, corporate travel, and MICE programs across more than 15 international destinations.
In this position, you will be responsible for creating tailored travel solutions end to end for individual, group, and corporate clients. Along with handling complex travel arrangements, you will also support the team by coaching sales staff and helping maintain a high standard of service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Build and refine customized travel itineraries covering flights, accommodation, transfers, sightseeing, and visa support.
- Support and coach sales representatives and other team members on handling enquiries, recommending destinations, and upselling travel packages.
- Work with booking systems and GDS tools to prepare quotations, confirm reservations, and manage changes or cancellations.
- Serve as a dependable point of contact for clients by resolving issues and ensuring a smooth customer experience.
- Keep track of updates in travel rules, visa processes, and destination trends so information shared with clients remains accurate.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of active experience in travel consulting or travel management, preferably in a travel agency or TMC.
- Practical knowledge of booking engines, GDS platforms, and basic visa documentation work.
- Strong command of English is essential.
- Ability to speak Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, or Telugu is considered a major advantage.
- Well-developed organizational ability, careful attention to pricing and itinerary details, and a solid problem-solving approach.
- A diploma or degree in any discipline is acceptable; qualification in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related area is preferred.
