Role overview
Green Group is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Office Engineer to join its Riyadh-based team. The role focuses on driving technical office activities, aligning design and execution efforts, and supporting successful delivery of construction projects from early planning all the way to handover.
Key responsibilities
- Examine, align, and track shop drawings, technical submittals, material approvals, and project records.
- Prepare and validate BOQs, quantity take-offs, and technical reporting.
- Work closely with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to close technical gaps and resolve issues.
- Handle RFIs, design clarifications, and other construction documentation.
- Follow project progress and provide technical assistance across all phases of delivery.
- Maintain adherence to project specifications, quality benchmarks, and contractual obligations.
- Contribute to cost control efforts, quantity surveying tasks, and variation order management.
- Help streamline technical office routines, processes, and workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
- 7–10 years of experience in construction projects.
- Hands-on background in both structural/construction and finishing works.
- Experience working in technical office functions within contracting companies.
- Strong working knowledge of shop drawings, BOQs, technical submittals, RFIs, and project documentation.
- Ability to coordinate effectively across design, procurement, and site execution teams.
- Good understanding of construction methods and project delivery practices.
- Prior exposure to residential, commercial, or government projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- Saudi Arabia experience is an advantage.
- Fluent English communication skills.
