Role Overview
This position calls for an experienced Senior Team Manager in Civil Engineering to oversee civil works, manage site execution, and make sure all activities meet engineering, quality, and safety standards. The role includes contractor coordination, technical supervision, project planning support, and solving cross-functional construction issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee everyday site operations, labor teams, and external contractors.
- Confirm that construction work follows approved drawings, technical specifications, and safety rules.
- Track work quality, project progress, and team output.
- Offer technical direction and hands-on support to project teams and contractors.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to keep projects moving on schedule and within expected standards.
- Inspect work sites and resolve issues arising during construction.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is preferred.
- For bachelor’s degree holders, 4 to 5 years of experience is required, including 3 years in a supervisory or engineering capacity.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Knowledge of soil, aggregate, cement, and field compaction testing.
- Experience in civil works supervision and quality control.
- Capability to manage contractors effectively.
- Good understanding of workplace safety and construction best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
