Job description
Role Overview
Higgins Coatings is seeking a trade-qualified painter with site supervision experience who is ready to move off the tools and take charge of multiple commercial repaint projects across the Townsville region. This opportunity suits someone currently working as a Project Manager, or a site supervisor looking to step up into a project management position. You will be supported by an established national business while overseeing several jobs at once.
Key Duties
- Oversee commercial repaint projects from initial time assessment through to resolving site issues and securing final client approval.
- Coordinate painters, subcontractors, and job materials.
- Ensure each project stays safe, on track, and within budget.
- Liaise with clients and suppliers throughout the job lifecycle.
About You
- You hold a trade qualification as a painter.
- You have experience leading crews, managing jobs, and supervising more than one site.
- You bring strong organisation, practical problem-solving, and confident people skills.
- You are comfortable working with digital systems and completing documentation electronically.

- An annual base salary of around $110,000 plus superannuation and a fully maintained company vehicle.
