Job description
Company overview
Fourth and HotSchedules combined in July 2019 to form a worldwide leader in restaurant and hospitality management technology. The business delivers an end-to-end SaaS platform that supports scheduling, time and attendance, applicant tracking, training, inventory and procurement, HR and benefits, and payroll. Its customer base spans 120,000 locations across the globe, ranging from single-site operators and franchise restaurants to large hotel and restaurant groups. The organisation operates with teams across the US, UK, Bulgaria, China, Australia, and the UAE.
Role summary
As a Senior Talent Advisor, you will balance hands-on recruitment delivery with broader talent strategy. The role calls for someone who is proactive, advisory in style, and focused on creating an excellent experience for candidates. You will work in a fast-moving environment, collaborate closely with hiring managers and business leaders, and use market knowledge and data to shape hiring plans. The position also includes coaching junior colleagues and acting as a dependable partner to the wider business.
Core responsibilities
You will manage full-cycle hiring across a wide variety of roles, with particular emphasis on Tech and GTM recruitment in the UK. This includes partnering with hiring managers on tailored recruitment plans, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for referral, internal, and external candidates, and handling interviews, compensation discussions, employment verification, and reference checks.
You will also lead sourcing efforts to build strong talent pipelines over the long term. This involves using social and passive-candidate channels to position the company as a desirable employer, developing relationships with universities and other educational institutions to support junior hiring, and organising attraction activities such as job fairs and industry events.
In addition, you will contribute to workforce planning and recruitment strategy by working with Business Partners, People Partners, and senior leaders on long-range staffing needs and organisational design. You will help manage external agencies and support hiring activity linked to new roles, restructuring, and broader workforce changes.
Another part of the role is strengthening diversity and inclusion by designing sourcing approaches that widen access to talent and support inclusive hiring pipelines.
You will use analytics and reporting to monitor recruitment performance, forecast future hiring demand, and provide leadership with clear, actionable insights. Accurate ATS data management and prompt response to data requests are also important parts of the job.
Employer branding and collaboration are additional responsibilities, including working with Marketing and People Operations on relevant content and supporting a global recruitment branding strategy. You will also mentor junior Talent Advisors and deliver training to hiring managers on effective recruitment practices.
Preferred experience and qualifications
The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of experience in HR or recruitment, including 3 or more years in an in-house talent acquisition role. You should have a strong background in tech recruitment and be comfortable hiring across different levels and functions. Experience working across multiple geographies or markets is also important.
Strong analytical ability, the capacity to turn data into practical hiring actions, and a forward-looking mindset are essential. You should be comfortable using ATS platforms and social sourcing tools, and bring excellent written and verbal communication skills. The role also requires the ability to influence stakeholders up to C-suite and VP level, stay highly organised, work independently, and solve complex talent challenges creatively.
Benefits
Employees receive 25 days of basic holiday, with the potential to increase to 30 based on service, plus a day off for their birthday and bank holidays. The company offers flexible hours and hybrid working, wellness support, gym discount options, laptop and equipment provision, healthcare expense claim tools, certification support, annual meet-ups, enhanced parental support, cycle-to-work and season ticket loan options, pension and life insurance choices, and on-demand pay access before month-end.
Privacy and equal opportunity
Any personal data shared in the application process will be used only for recruitment purposes. By applying, candidates confirm that they have read the candidate privacy policy. The employer is an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants without discrimination on the basis of sex, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, marital status, race, colour, age, national origin, military status, religion, disability, or any other legally protected status.
