As a Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor within our New Zealand office, you will play a pivotal role in end-to-end recruitment, partnering closely with hiring managers across diverse portfolios. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire recruitment process for assigned roles, from initial briefing to offer and onboarding support.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to analyze workforce plans and identify essential skills and capability gaps.
- Design and implement strategies to attract candidates utilizing advertising, sourcing, talent mapping, referrals, and market research.
- Create engaging and inclusive job advertisements aligned with Mott MacDonald’s brand voice and employee value proposition.
- Evaluate applications and conduct initial candidate assessments, offering clear recommendations to hiring managers.
- Organize interviews and assessment activities to ensure a fair, structured, and positive experience for candidates.
- Leverage recruitment tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and internal systems for sourcing and candidate pipeline management.
- Provide insightful recruitment reports, market analysis, and talent pipeline information to support hiring decisions and strategic workforce planning.
- Support graduate, internship, and early careers recruitment initiatives, including attraction campaigns and candidate engagement activities.
- Advocate for inclusive recruitment practices, including diverse sourcing methods, inclusive language, and equitable selection procedures.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in recruitment processes, reporting, attraction strategies, and candidate experience enhancements.
- Provide practical people advisory support to the New Zealand business, assisting with employee lifecycle activities such as onboarding, policy queries, performance and development processes, employee relations, remuneration, and reporting, in partnership with the NZ People Advisory Manager.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment in complex, professional services, engineering, infrastructure, or technical sectors.
- Strong abilities in sourcing candidates through direct search, talent pipelines, and market mapping techniques.
- Proficient user of recruitment platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, recruitment databases, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Skilled at analyzing recruitment data and market insights to guide hiring strategies.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills to build credibility with diverse teams and leadership levels.
- Effective communicator with a practical, candidate-focused approach.
- Knowledgeable about New Zealand’s recruitment and employment legislation and best practices.
- Dedicated to promoting inclusive, fair, and accessible recruitment processes.
- A keen interest in incorporating digital tools, automation, and process improvements within recruitment practices.
