Senior / Staff Engineer - Mixed Signal Verification

Role overview

Infineon Technologies is hiring a Senior/Staff Engineer for Mixed Signal Verification within its Research & Development organization in Singapore. In this position, you will help shape advanced semiconductor solutions by leading and supporting verification work across complex projects, collaborating closely with design and verification teams, and contributing to continuous improvement in methodology and execution.

What you'll do

• Support complex verification efforts by interpreting requirements, helping define and review verification plans, establishing digital verification metrics, building test cases, and ensuring reporting meets expectations.
• Coordinate verification tasks and activities for assigned projects.
• Use methodologies such as UVM and SystemVerilog to run tests for RTL, IP, and subsystem-level designs.
• Develop reusable verification components and environments.
• Work closely with analog and digital designers, as well as concept and verification engineers.
• Spot gaps in verification methodology and simulation performance, then drive practical improvements.
• Look for alignment between pre-silicon verification practices and post-silicon validation.
• Mentor junior verification engineers and provide technical support to development teams and business stakeholders.
• Create new verification environments and enhance existing ones.
• Help establish a seamless cross-domain verification and validation approach.
• Take part in internal verification communities and share technical knowledge.
• Offer technical guidance when needed on projects related to interaction topics.

What we're looking for

• A degree in Electronics Engineering or a closely related discipline, with strong semiconductor development knowledge.
• At least 5 years of pre-silicon verification experience using UVM.
• Strong command of modern verification methods and tool flows.
• Ability to lead technically by exploring new environments and identifying opportunities for improvement through new methodologies.
• Good working knowledge of VHDL, Verilog, C, C++, and SystemVerilog.
• A self-driven, adaptable team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to deliver results in a fast-moving, multi-site setup while managing priorities and taking initiative.
• Demonstrated innovation mindset, plus the ability to improve efficiency through scripting and automation.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across multiple teams and sites.
• Fluent English communication skills are required.

Good to have

• Experience with analog and mixed-signal IC verification methods and tools such as XA/VCS and AMS-Designer.
• Exposure to requirements management practices.
• Knowledge of automotive functional safety standards, especially ISO 26262.
• Previous experience as a technical lead or mentor.
