Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Splunk Engineer at Level 3 to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This position requires an experienced professional capable of delivering advanced technical support for Splunk environments, resolving complex issues, and enhancing system performance through optimization and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver third-level support for complex incidents and escalations related to Splunk.
• Manage, optimize, and troubleshoot enterprise-level Splunk setups.
• Create advanced searches using SPL and develop dashboards, reports, alerts, and correlation searches for improved system insights.
• Design and execute integrations for data onboarding within the Splunk platform.
• Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning to ensure efficient Splunk environment function.
• Investigate and resolve intricate problems spanning Splunk components and their integrations.
• Support and maintain Splunk architecture, including handling upgrades, configurations, and deployments.
• Recognize patterns of issues and implement sustainable solutions to boost stability and performance of the platform.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to Tier 1 and Tier 2 engineers to enhance team capabilities.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, adhere to standards, and manage operational procedures effectively.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven practical experience in Splunk administration and engineering roles.
• Expertise in SPL queries, dashboards, alerts management, data onboarding, and system integrations.
• Experience in diagnosing and resolving complex challenges in enterprise Splunk environments.
• Comprehensive understanding of log management, monitoring, and security operations related to Splunk.
• Knowledge of Splunk infrastructure management, including architecture, performance tuning, and platform optimization.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Possession of relevant Splunk certifications is considered a plus.
